Project Manager:
A Project Manager at FanMail is part of a team of Professional Services Consultants that are allocated to lead client projects, programs or client training. The primary responsibility of a Project Manager involves leading and executing project related work. Project Managers serve as the owner of a project, program or training engagement, as well as the owner of the client relationship as it relates to the execution of the work effort. Project Managers are expected to leverage ExactTarget and FanMail applications and feature knowledge, and business and marketing domain expertise, in combination with the expertise of a FanMail cross functional team to achieve success.
Overall, a Project Manager is looked to as both a source of leadership and a resource of FanMail, providing various types of project execution to satisfy our clients and performing various other ad-hoc activities in support of our growing Services organization. The work environment is fast paced and deadline focused. A successful Project Manager operates efficiently in a fast paced and demanding environment, maintains composure, demonstrates leadership through maturity and communicates in an exemplary manner.
Primary Responsibilities:

Lead and/or provide support to client Services engagements, to include projects, programs or client training.

Play a key role in/manage a client relationship. Work closely with the client on a daily basis to ensure project progress and maintain constant open communication.

Review and analyze project scope.

Create program charter, project plan, timeline, schedules, etc.

Review client-side dependencies and timeline. Schedule and lead client meetings.

Assemble and lead appropriate cross functional teams. As necessary, lead geographically-dispersed virtual teams.

Lead and participate in internal knowledge transfer.

Communicate regularly with client to include status meetings and quarterly business reviews.

Identify issues and escalate to the necessary and appropriate team members and stakeholders.

Track progress against the project plan and timeline. Track and review individual and project team utilization.

Track and review budget vs. actual project costs.

Identify project risks and gaps in requirements.

Facilitate and resolve client concerns.

Manage client expectations.

Establish and nurture positive relationships across Services and FanMail.

The ideal candidate will have a proven consulting background demonstrated by previous work with ExactTarget, an enterprise ESP, a marketing/advertising agency, a marketing or technology consulting firm, or as an executive-level digital marketing expert within a corporation known for skill and thought-leadership within the digital space.

**This position allows you to work from home. Expected Travel will be a minimum of 25%.
Technology Specialist:
The Technology Specialist works within Client Services at FanMail, implementing custom solutions integrated with the ExactTarget one-to-one messaging platform. The Technology Specialist is a consultant with deep application and feature knowledge of ExactTarget, as well as specific technology domain expertise. These consultants typically engage on a project basis in concert with the Implementation Team and work with both FanMail and ExactTarget customers on the following type of engagements:

Technology Specialist consultants are billable resources with a majority of their time spent on client facing engagements. Types of projects may include, but are not limited to, custom profile center development to house subscriber preferences for email and mobile communications, custom web page development utilizing landing pages within ExactTarget, API integration with a client's CRM toolset and the ExactTarget application to trigger email and mobile communications. Clients include major, recognizable brands with a global presence.
Requirements:
A consultant with at least three years of client facing experience working on software or general technology projects. In addition to some level of relevant technology domain expertise, this individual must have basic project management skills and be able to contribute meaningfully to client deliverables and proposals. Technology Specialists work in collaboration with Implementation Consultants to deliver against scoped projects. Technology Specialists are expected to have or quickly develop one skill in each of the outlined categories.
